Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality Year 2 lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for KS1 SATs in an engaging and supportive way.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and close learning gaps.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Confident in differentiating learning across varying abilities.
• Positive and engaging teaching style.

Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pmSalary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)Contract: 1Year (with potential extension)
