What the Role Involves

  • Be a vital part of our team, providing crucial support to both the teacher and our pupils.
  • Help create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all children can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with pupils with special educational needs, both in groups and one-on-one, to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to raise attainment and progress for every child.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is

  • Experienced: Ideally you have a background in working with children and families, which may include supporting those with special educational needs.
  • A People Person: You can build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and other professionals.
  • Resilient: You can handle challenging situations and work well under pressure.
  • Proactive: You can use your initiative and make sound judgments within your role.
  • A Great Communicator: You have excellent interpersonal skills and can present information clearly.
  • Organised: You are comfortable using IT software to maintain accurate records.

Details

  • There are two positions available: 1 full time 8:15‑3:15 term time & 1 part time 12:00‑3:15 term time
  • Full time salary: £20,068 per annum (based on a 39‑week term time contract working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 3:15 pm)
  • Part time salary: £20,068 per annum pro rata (based on a 39‑week term time contract working 16.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12:00‑3:15)
  • Grade: 6 SCP 12‑17
