Responsibilities
- PLC Programming and Fault Finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Proven experience in the use and implementation of PLC systems and automated production processes.
- Knowledge of robotics, pneumatic, mechanical systems
- Proven ability to use a logical approach to problem solving and root cause corrective action (RCCA)
- Familiarity with formal problem‑solving techniques such as SGA, DMAIC, 7‑step, PDCA, 5 Why and Fishbone Diagram.
- Experience with SCADA Systems
- Knowledge of equipment OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), planned maintenance and spares control
- Proven ability to implement project schedules and plan effectively and on time
- Experience with capital investment for new or improved equipment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Significant experience in electronics and/or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or similar background. Experience in PLC systems, SCADA, and manufacturing environments. Strong problem‑solving skills and root cause analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
