Up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to provide leadership and oversight of essential hospital facilities services. This critical role is responsible for maintaining high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, managing the performance and delivery of the CBRE contract, and leading key operational teams, including porters and housekeepers. A dedicated Facilities Manager is vital to ensuring regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensures that all hospital facilities meet regulatory health and safety standards to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Fire Compliance: Monitors fire safety protocols, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices to mitigate risks
- Contract Management: Oversees the CBRE contract, ensuring service levels are met and costs are effectively controlled
- Operational Efficiency: Directly line‑manages porters and housekeepers, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations that contribute to patient care and hospital cleanliness

Our Woking Hospital is a leading private hospital in Surrey, South East England. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional standards of treatment and care in our state‑of‑the‑art facilities and CPD programme. Specialities include Women’s and Men’s health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care, with many more available. The hospital is licensed for 27 beds with en‑suite facilities on the ward, two theatres including lamina flow, one minor operating theatre, pre‑assessment, physiotherapy clinic, onsite pharmacy, mammography, X‑ray and ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in outpatients.
