Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our busy water team in Manchester or Warrington. The role will lead the delivery of planning, detailed design, and Design & Build projects across national frameworks in water, wastewater, flood management, and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the project lifecycle — feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Take ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and risk to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee technical design reviews and ensure constructability, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and internal stakeholders, strengthening relationships and trust.
- Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including programmes, cost plans, and progress reports.
- Champion innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing water and wastewater projects, ideally within UK regulatory frameworks.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure (e.g., pipelines, sewers) and non‑infrastructure (e.g., treatment plants, pumping stations) assets.
- Experience in Design & Build delivery models and detailed design coordination.
- Project Management Qualification; membership of ICE, CIWEM, or NEC accreditation.
