Machine Operator

Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join our client based in Hitchin on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a great chance for a long-term opportunity with a reputable company!

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am – 3pm and Friday 6am – 11am

Pay rate – £13.19 p/h

Manufacturing Operative

Main Duties

• Follow work instructions and company procedures.
• Support the production team in achieving daily production targets.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
• Operate and work with metal manufacturing products and materials.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with general production and machine operation tasks as required.

Person Specification

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience working in a similar machine operative role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions effectively.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
