CNC Machinist

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity available for a CNC Machinist with experience in milling and turning in Eaglescliffe, Teesside on a permanent basis.

Rate of pay: Up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (with an early finish on Friday)

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to a good level of quality that will meet our client’s standards. You will also be responsible for:

• Producing according to drawings and specifications
• High speed CNC vertical milling
• Operating 2 axis up to 5 axis CNC lathes
• Looking for areas of improvement and opportunities to reduce waste
• Following all safety procedures and policies

The ideal CNC Machinist will have the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:

• Programming and setting skills in FANUC or HURCO control (essential)
• Experience in a graphite environment (beneficial, but not essential as training provided)
• Educated to GCSE level or higher (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Mathematics, or hold equivalent qualifications (essential)
