Greenfields Primary School & Nursery – EYFS Teaching Assistant

Greenfields Primary School & Nursery is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support primary curriculum delivery and promote children’s learning.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the class teacher to support teaching and learning activities.
• Provide general support in organising and managing pupils and classroom activities.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly, supportive learning environment.
• Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring equal access to learning opportunities.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
• Support whole‑school life participation.
• Play an active team player role, show initiative, and work well within a team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Sound knowledge of or experience of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom practice.
• Commitment to safeguarding children in our care.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and child‑centred approach.

Hours

8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week).

We offer training opportunities from the David Ross Education Trust and support professional development.
