Salary up to £60,000

We are working on behalf of a well‑established client to recruit an experienced BMS Project Manager to join their growing team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of high‑value BMS projects across the West Midlands, with occasional travel further afield (fully expensed).

The successful candidate will manage projects from post‑quotation stage through to final handover, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BMS projects through design, installation, commissioning, and handover
• Take full ownership of projects valued up to £1M
• Produce and manage project documentation including technical submittals, drawings, O&M manuals, and reports
• Ensure quality and design standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project programmes to achieve milestones
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Support and coordinate installation and commissioning engineers
• Lead and mentor a small team of project engineers

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering BMS projects from design to completion
• Strong technical background in BMS engineering and/or project management
• Experience with one or more of the following systems: Trend, Tridium, Delta, Cylon (ABB), Distech
• Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
• CSCS Card (or equivalent)
• Full UK Driving Licence
