Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician to join an experienced technical team and contribute to a diverse range of engineering projects.
You will work closely with engineers and technicians to produce accurate drawings, support project delivery, and ensure documentation is maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate 2D AutoCAD technical drawings for Civil and Structural projects
- Supporting reinforced concrete detailing and scheduling
- Coordinating and maintaining project documentation and drawing registers
- Ensuring all outputs comply with relevant standards and specifications
- Collaborating with engineers on live project delivery
- Actively engaging in training and professional development
Requirements
- HND or Degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction‑related discipline
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in CAD drafting / technical drawing
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, motivated, and keen to develop professionally
- Right to work in the UK
- Salary up to £33,000 per annum (DoE)
