Part-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant

About the role

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in LS11. This is a long term, part time position (Monday to Wednesday) which will commence in September 2026 and end in April 2027. The school strives for a positive and happy atmosphere where children can excel in a diverse environment.

Key Stage 1 duties

• Providing general classroom support
• Delivering interventions to boost attainment
• Supporting key children

Qualifications

• Experience working in a primary school
• A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
• Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
• A minimum of a Level 2 relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
