HGV 1 Driver – Raunds (Wellingborough)

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for temp to perm roles in our depot in Raunds (Wellingborough). The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 – 15 drops per day, with tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts patterns available

• Saturday to Wednesday 02:00am start
• Tuesday to Saturday 03:00am start

Day pay rates

• Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

Nights pay rates

• Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual
• Willing to work weekends
• Motivated and open to learn new skills
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work

Your role

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules
• Prepping vehicles for delivery
• Completing vehicle checks
• Refuelling vehicles
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full
