Agincare is a family‑run care provider experienced since 1986, employing over 4,500 staff across more than 100 locations in England. We are currently expanding our finance team and require a detail‑oriented, proactive Senior Payroll Assistant to work with the Head of Payroll and Assistant Payroll Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end payroll processing for all payrolls under your responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Payroll and Assistant Payroll Manager on project‑based work.
- Produce third‑party reports, including Nest, Office of National Statistics, Court Orders and HMRC.
- Provide expert guidance on payroll processing, policies and procedures, and develop and educate the team on current policies.
- Deliver payroll‑specific training to the team when required.
- Respond to queries and support the team to be responsive and accurate in their responses.
- Provide key payroll data as required.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in end‑to‑end payroll.
- Flexible approach to changing demands of the role.
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent IT skills, especially Excel, and receptiveness to technology changes.
- CIPP qualified, studying, or willing to study towards CIPP.
