Volunteer Coordinator
This role supports a large voluntary programme across Forestry England districts, coordinating volunteer activities and ensuring safe, effective delivery in partnership with recreation, land management and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan, recruit and manage volunteering opportunities for over 50,000 volunteer hours delivered annually.
- Coordinate with teams across recreation, land management and business support to schedule and support volunteer projects.
- Monitor volunteer activities, providing hands‑on support and supervision on site and at the desk.
- Assist with the learning programme and engage with emerging priorities such as biodiversity, resilience and woodland creation.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with Forestry England standards.
Where You’ll Work
- Either Sherwood Forest (NG21 9JL), Cannock Forest (WS15 2UQ) or Delamere Forest (CW8 2HZ)
