Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in ensuring that the Inn feels like a home away from home for guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the team, manage daily operations, and create a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in meeting company standards and guest expectations.
  • Lead and manage the team to deliver excellent service in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Oversee shift operations, conduct administrative tasks, and liaise with chefs, management, and suppliers.
  • Perform stocktake and ordering, manage accounts, and address guest responses.
  • Be available for occasional overnight stays and guest issues.
  • Mentor and inspire team members to achieve impactful results.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in food and hospitality.
  • Passion for customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Leadership ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Hands‑on, approachable style with willingness to lead by example.
