We’re recruiting an experienced Class 1 RoRo / Bulker Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation on a permanent PM shift. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who want consistent hours, a fixed shift pattern and long‑term job security.
What You’ll Get
- £16.86 per hour basic rate
- £3.37 per hour PM shift premium
- £20.23 per hour paid throughout your PM shift
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Fixed shift: 1:30pm – 11:00pm
- No weekend working
- Weekly pay

The Role
Operating Class 1 RoRo and Bulker vehicles, you’ll play an important part in keeping waste and recycling services running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Completing scheduled collections and deliveries safely and efficiently
- Operating RoRo and Bulker vehicles in line with company procedures
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Completing transport paperwork accurately
- Delivering excellent customer service at collection and delivery sites
- Following all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous RoRo and/or Bulker experience preferred
- Compactor experience would be advantageous
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time Regulations
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Driving: 1 year (required)
- HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (required)
- HGV Skip/Roro licence (preferred)
