Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Integration Manager to lead data-related activities within a large-scale business integration programme. The successful candidate will evaluate the acquired organisation’s data environment, establish integration and retention strategies, and provide governance over data transition activities.

This role will play a key part in determining how information assets are managed throughout the integration lifecycle, ensuring compliance, security, and business continuity.

Key Duties

  • Conduct a detailed review of the acquired company’s data estate, including systems, repositories, and information assets.
  • Analyse and categorise datasets to determine migration, retention, archival, or decommissioning requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data transition roadmaps, ownership models, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with information security, privacy, compliance, and governance stakeholders to ensure appropriate handling of sensitive information.
  • Support the assessment and integration of operational reporting, performance metrics, and collaboration platform data.
  • Establish guidelines and criteria for information requests and data transfers from acquired entities.
  • Provide recommendations regarding the consolidation, migration, or segregation of SharePoint environments and associated content repositories.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to convert data requirements into executable implementation plans.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and status updates, providing regular reporting to programme leadership and integration management teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable experience delivering data integration, migration, separation, or transformation initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data lifecycle management, and large-scale information ecosystems.
  • Solid knowledge of data governance principles, regulatory compliance, privacy requirements, and information security controls.
  • Experience working with SharePoint, document management systems, or enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Comfortable engaging with both senior business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Exposure to SAP data structures and integration activities would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as SuccessFactors, Hybris, or Concur is beneficial.
  • Previous involvement in divestitures, carve-outs, transitional service agreement (TSA) exits, or acquisition integration programmes would be highly desirable.
