What you will do

• Provide social work oversight on Child in Need plans executed by keyworkers, including chairing initial and concluding CIN meetings.
• Accompany keyworkers on home visits when required.
• Lead strategy discussions, conduct Section 47 enquiries, and offer comprehensive written oversight monthly for each family.
• Allocate oversight for approximately 60 children alongside keyworkers, although this is not a case‑holding position.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team comprising a Team Manager, Senior Practitioners, four social workers, a Team and Partnership Manager, three Team Leaders, eight keyworkers, and eight family support workers.

Qualifications

• Experienced senior practitioner with robust safeguarding expertise, including strategy discussion, Section 47 processes, and private legal proceedings.
• Strong grasp of threshold criteria.
• Prior experience offering oversight to students is advantageous.
