Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This role will be based on a secure site.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve & enhance service reliability, availability and operational resilience
- Automate & optimise infrastructure, operational workflows and platform processes
- Design & implement monitoring, alerting and observability solutions
- Support & scale Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Develop & deliver CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation capabilities
- Investigate & resolve incidents, conducting root cause analysis and remediation
- Enhance & improve platform performance, scalability and efficiency
- Collaborate & contribute within Agile, cross-functional delivery teams
- Drive & champion continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging and observability tooling
- Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release automation practices
- Understanding of incident management and service reliability methodologies
- Programming or scripting experience in Go, Python, Java and/or Bash
- Experience working with Git-based development workflows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within Agile delivery teams
