An engineering manufacturer based in Sheffield is looking for a Junior Production Engineer to join its friendly production team. This Sheffield-based role is ideal for someone starting out in engineering or manufacturing, with full training provided. A genuine interest in production or engineering through studies, hobbies, or practical projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and test instruments
• Inspect PCBs and fault-find to component level
• Support QA documentation and process improvements
• Support Service and R&D teams
• Collect and deliver parts as required

Requirements

Essential:

• Attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Microsoft Office skills
• Willingness to learn

Desirable:

• Electronics qualification or IPC-A-610 awareness
• Soldering and electronics manufacturing experience
• ISO 9001 experience
