Role: Electrical and Mechanical engineer

Location: Norfolk

Working hours: Monday to Friday – Full time hours

Capacity of role: Permanent position

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

Our client is currently recruiting for a multi biased engineer to join their team. Candidates will be responsible for manufacturing the companies product range and will be working with all departments to ensure the smooth production process is upheld.

Responsibilities

• Working with our Design Engineer to develop, and optimize electrical and mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for our equipment we manufacture.




• Ability to understand and work to detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.




• Conduct simulations, testing, and validation to ensure system performance and reliability.




• Evaluate materials, components, and technologies to optimise cost, performance, and sustainability.




• Ensure designs comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and industry standards with our sectors.




• Support prototyping, troubleshooting, and system integration activities.

Candidate attributes

• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical design and system integration.




• Strong understanding of materials, mechanics, electronics, and manufacturing processes.




• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.




• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.




• Experience with simulations, prototyping, and testing of complex systems is a plus.
