YC-Backed AI FinTech Startup | Full-Time | In Office
We’re partnering with a venture-backed AI FinTech company at an early stage of growth, building products that redefine how financial services teams operate. Backed by top-tier investors and moving at exceptional speed, they’re now hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to help shape both the product and company from the ground up.
This is not a traditional engineering role.
You’ll work directly with customers, own deployments end-to-end, solve ambiguous technical problems, and influence roadmap decisions in real time. The team is small, highly ambitious, and operates with intensity, urgency, and an exceptionally high bar for execution.

What you’ll do
- Partner directly with customers to understand workflows and deliver tailored technical solutions
- Build and deploy product features rapidly in close collaboration with founders and engineering
- Own implementation from discovery through production and iteration
- Act as the bridge between product, engineering, and customer outcomes
- Identify opportunities to automate, scale, and improve customer experiences
- Help define technical and operational foundations as one of the earliest hires

- Experience shipping production systems across modern stacks
- Exposure to AI/ML products, infrastructure, or applied AI workflows
