Overview
As Commercial Manager, you’ll take full ownership of key UK grocery customers, driving growth, performance and partnership across the Candy Kittens family. From shaping customer plans to leading execution, you’ll play a central role in elevating our presence, performance and impact in store.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and growing strategically important UK grocery customer relationships
- Building and delivering ambitious customer growth plans and JBPs
- Taking full responsibility for customer P&L, including pricing, promotions and trade spend
- Leading forecasting and volume planning in collaboration with internal teams
- Working cross-functionally to deliver best-in‑class shopper marketing and in‑store activation
- Acting as the voice of the customer internally, helping elevate Candy Kittens’ profile and influence

Primary Responsibilities
Engaging & Building Customer Relationships You understand that effective customer relationships go beyond the buyer and know how to navigate wider customer teams to get things done. All while actively elevating Candy Kittens’ profile, influence and credibility within your customer.
Building & Executing Exciting Growth Plans Whether through formal JBP negotiations or presenting and aligning on annual brand plans – we strive for ambitious plans that will take us to the next level. No idea is too ambitious and we are uniquely positioned to deliver really exciting category plans.
Be the voice & expert for your Customer within Candy Kittens Effective communication to align customer plans with internal processes. Proactively bring ideas and proposals that help position Candy Kittens as a valued, influential partner – always asking yourself “how can I make this work for my customer?”
P&L Ownership Full ownership of the customer P&L, including pricing, trade spend, promotional mechanics, growth incentives and activation investment.
Forecasting Owning and influencing customer forecasts and volume planning, balancing ambition with operational reality.
Shopper Marketing Activation Work with our marketing team and external retailer media teams to execute exciting grocery activation plans that drive rate of sale, distribution growth and brand visibility in‑store and online.
Managing the commercial day‑to‑day… Running the operational and commercial rhythm of the account – from customer sell‑ins and line forms to promotions, samples, store visits and internal coordination.
