Your new role

As AI Execution Manager, you will operate at the intersection of science, AI and business, helping translate strategic priorities into successful execution. You will help shape high-impact initiatives, bring structure to complex challenges and build alignment across a diverse stakeholder landscape to deliver meaningful organisational impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with scientific and business leaders to shape high-impact AI and digital initiatives, translating opportunities into clear, actionable programmes.
  • Leading complex cross‑functional initiatives across Research & Development, including collaborations with external partners and technology leaders.
  • Providing strategic guidance and coordination across AI initiatives, ensuring alignment between scientific objectives, technology capabilities and business priorities.
  • Acting as a trusted partner, translating between scientific, technical and business perspectives to support informed decision‑making.
  • Building alignment & relationships across senior stakeholders and drive complex initiatives through to successful delivery in a global matrix organisation.

Your new department

AI & Digital Innovation accelerates scientific innovation across Research & Development through AI and digital technologies.

The AI Execution team in AI & Digital Innovation partners across R&D, from target discovery through to clinical development, to identify, shape and deliver high‑impact initiatives that create measurable value. Working across science, technology and business, the team helps transform ambitious ideas into tangible organisational impact.

Your skills & qualifications

Success in this role will depend on a specific combination of capabilities. We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking, scientific credibility and digital understanding, and can bring those strengths together to solve complex challenges and drive meaningful change across a global matrix organisation.

  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, shape complex initiatives and connect scientific and technical opportunities with broader organisational priorities.
  • A proven track record of leading high‑impact initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders and building alignment across complex matrix organisations to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strong digital and AI understanding, including an appreciation of how technology products and capabilities are developed, implemented and scaled within large organisations.
  • A strong scientific foundation, typically demonstrated through an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in life sciences, enabling you to engage confidently with experts across Research & Development.
  • A demonstrated understanding of how large pharmaceutical or life sciences organisations operate, supported by a proven track record of working across scientific, technical and business functions to deliver complex initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with scientific, technical and executive audiences.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
