JSS are pleased to be working on an opportunity to join a leading international investment management platform as a Senior Finance Manager. Operating across multiple investment strategies and jurisdictions, the business has built a strong reputation for investing in high-growth markets and continues to expand its global footprint.
This is a highly visible role within a lean, collaborative finance team, offering direct exposure to the CFO and senior leadership. You’ll take ownership of external reporting, technical accounting and audit management across a complex group structure, while helping to shape best-in-class finance processes.
As Senior Manager, Accounting, you will act as the technical accounting lead for the business, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting, governance and IFRS compliance. You’ll work closely with finance leadership, external auditors and key stakeholders across the organisation, supporting both strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements.
- Own the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and coordinating all audit deliverables.
- Prepare technical accounting papers and advise on the accounting treatment of complex transactions and new business activities.
- Manage group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and equity accounting across multiple entities.
- Support the preparation of Board, Audit Committee and investor reporting materials.
- Review financial reporting across the wider group, ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
- Partner with tax advisers and internal stakeholders on corporate accounting and cross-border finance matters.
- Support valuation reporting and provide accounting oversight for fair value assessments.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, process improvements and reporting automation.
You’ll be a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges while operating in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification, ideally trained within a Big Four firm.
- Experience preparing or reviewing IFRS financial statements within a listed company, investment manager or complex group.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including consolidations and financial reporting.
- End-to-end ownership of the external audit process.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving finance processes and controls.
