As a Commercial Partnership Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing a category within the Clubcard Reward Partner scheme. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about customers and delivering market-leading partnerships that drive engagement and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and delivering new partnership propositions that are meaningful to customers and commercially viable for both Tesco and partners, aligning with business priorities
- Renegotiating existing contracts to achieve the best outcomes for customers, Tesco and partners, supporting growth in orders, households and overall satisfaction, while strengthening loyalty
- Building and developing partner relationships to support category growth and the wider success of the Clubcard Reward Partner scheme
- Managing the day-to-day performance of your Clubcard Partner category and maintaining strong partner relationships
- Developing joint business and marketing plans with partners; collaborating with Clubcard and Communications teams to deliver both always-on and ad hoc promotional activity
- Setting and delivering customer and financial KPIs aligned to Clubcard objectives and wider business goals
- Utilising the wider Tesco Group and available resources to support joint business planning with strategic partners, enhancing the customer proposition and creating mutual value
- Leading a key pillar of the Partner scheme (e.g. forecasting or reporting), ensuring strong delivery and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight
- Experience developing and nurturing meaningful relationships across internal teams, the wider Group, and external partners
- Strong forecasting and cost management capability
- Ability to develop compelling and engaging propositions
- Understanding of how to brief and support marketing and communications activity
- Experience building trusted, sustainable partnerships across a complex or large partner/supplier base
- Proven ability to negotiate and renegotiate contracts with medium to large businesses and brands
- Experience delivering effective joint business planning and cross-functional projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
