Delivery Suite Ward Manager

Job overview
Provide leadership, guidance and managerial support to the Delivery Suite, ensuring high quality care and positive patient experience. Act as a role model, liaise with the multidisciplinary team, and report directly to the Matron.
Responsibilities
Continuing 24‑hour responsibility for management of the clinical area including assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation.
Facilitate innovative, evidence‑based nursing and midwifery practice through professional leadership and support for the clinical team.
Encourage and empower staff to develop personally and professionally, achieving their maximum potential.
Liaise with multidisciplinary team and foster a collaborative approach to patient care.
Qualifications
- Full and active UK PIN Number
- Master’s degree
- Minimum 2 years Band 6 experience
- Experience within a leadership role
Requirements
- Must have appropriate UK professional registration.
- Employment may require DBS check (and admin fee) prior to start.
- Applicants with overseas qualifications must provide an official government translation through ECCTIS.
- Visa eligibility: must meet UK Home Office requirements; Skilled Worker visas cannot currently be issued to Afghan nationals; Study visas cannot be issued to nationals of Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar or Sudan; applications requiring sponsorship under these routes cannot be progressed.
