About the Role

As an NLP Engineer, you’ll develop cutting‑edge natural language processing solutions for enterprise clients across industries. From fine‑tuning large language models to building information extraction pipelines and conversational AI systems, you’ll work on some of the most exciting problems in applied NLP. This role combines deep technical expertise with practical engineering to deliver production‑ready language AI.

  • Develop and fine‑tune LLMs for domain‑specific applications (legal, medical, financial)
  • Build information extraction, NER, and relation extraction pipelines
  • Design and implement conversational AI and chatbot systems
  • Develop text classification, sentiment analysis, and topic modelling solutions
  • Create evaluation frameworks for NLP model quality and robustness
  • Optimise models for inference speed and cost (quantisation, distillation, pruning)
  • Stay current with NLP research and evaluate new techniques for client applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in NLP or computational linguistics
  • Strong proficiency in Python with Hugging Face Transformers and PyTorch
  • Experience fine‑tuning large language models (BERT, GPT, T5, LLaMA families)
  • Understanding of NLP fundamentals: tokenisation, embeddings, attention mechanisms
  • Experience with text preprocessing, feature engineering, and evaluation metrics
  • Familiarity with RAG architectures and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma)
  • MSc or PhD in NLP, Computational Linguistics, or related field

Nice to Have

Experience with multi‑lingual NLP and cross‑lingual transfer Familiarity with speech‑to‑text and multi‑modal language models Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex) Published papers at ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, or EACL Experience with annotation tools and active learning for NLP
