Senior Commissioning Engineer (Protection & Control)
Location: Central & Southern Scotland
Salary: £68,750 to £82,500 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing
- Site based engineering focusing on commissioning new assets, maintenance of new and legacy protection and control systems and fault management
- Work with the Operational Control Centre to optimise system performance
- Build strong working relationships across Transmission Operations and wider departments
- Champion safety and ensure full compliance with legislation and company policies
- Contribute actively to the Transmission Operations management team
- Make balanced, informed decisions using risk frameworks and operational insight
- Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maximise productivity
What You’ll Bring
- Engineering degree (BSc/Beng/Meng) or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in operational work within a DNO/TNO or similar environment
- Solid understanding of Protection & Control systems, commissioning and maintenance practices
