Risk Governance Manager

- We’ll look to you to drive successful outcomes for our customers by supporting senior leaders manage risk effectively
- You’ll be providing expert support, advice, MI and escalation to leaders and the business on risk management
- You’ll be able to showcase your expertise and enthusiasm as you deal with a variety of different stakeholders on a daily basis
- You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time working from an office or hub
What you’ll do
As a Risk Governance Manager, you’ll be responding to queries from stakeholders promptly. You’ll be engaging with stakeholders to deliver the best solution for their needs and acting as a reference point for requests.
- Deliver successful customer and business outcomes by processing and investigating queries defined by key risk indicators, governance decisions and senior stakeholder direction, and by accurately collecting the required information from the customers and business
- Review manual or ineffective processes, including governance bodies and MI dashboards which could be automated or enhanced to enable the provision of superior customer and business experience
- Providing expertise and maintaining an awareness of leadership tools, and participating in activities to drive improvements, including the operating of relevant governance bodies
The skills you’ll need
To excel in this role, you’ll have experience of working in a governance role and the ability to use customer, risk and industry knowledge. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have good organisational skills to deliver to deadlines.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- An awareness of changes in trends, policies and regulations
- An understanding of the industry and its customers
- Good knowledge of products, processes and governance systems
