As a Football Coach and Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and effectively
- Ensure students remain engaged, focused, and on task
- Support pupils’ learning in the absence of the regular teacher
- Build positive relationships with students and school staff
- Use your leadership, communication, and motivational skills to create a positive learning environment
Your experience as a Football Coach makes you an excellent candidate. The skills you use every day—leadership, teamwork, discipline, communication, resilience, and behaviour management—are highly transferable to the classroom and valued by schools.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Football Coach / Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Have experience coaching football or working with children and young people
- Demonstrate strong behaviour and group management skills
- Be confident, professional, and reliable
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- Have the right to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally through football coaching, sports coaching, mentoring, or youth work
