The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll become an important part of the commercial team, supporting existing customers while helping to build strong, long-term relationships across a varied engineering customer base.

This is a customer-focused position combining elements of internal sales, account management, sales coordination and technical sales support. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently while developing your technical product knowledge through comprehensive training.

Although you’ll be working with technical engineering products, previous engineering experience is not essential. The company is looking for someone with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries regarding technical instrumentation and electrical products.
  • Managing customer accounts and building strong long-term business relationships.
  • Preparing quotations and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing, product availability and technical information.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the company’s product range through structured training.
  • Providing excellent customer service while identifying opportunities to support additional customer requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across sales, commercial and technical teams.
  • Maintaining accurate customer information and ensuring enquiries are progressed efficiently.
