About the Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals to provide tailored support.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise achievement.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Promote pupils’ confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a primary school or SEN setting.
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, adaptable and compassionate approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to provide suitable references covering recent employment.
