Long Term Futures are recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a secondary setting. The role is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates considering a career in teaching, or qualified teachers seeking a long-term opportunity within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
- Support pupils’ academic progress and classroom participation
- Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
- Uphold school behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working within a secondary school environment
- Confidence leading classes and managing behaviour effectively
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, resilient and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Understanding of safeguarding and classroom management strategies
Location & Transport – Tower Hamlets, East London
