Role Description
We are recruiting Community Care Assistants, to visit clients in the Lymington, New Milton and southern New Forest area as part of the Domiciliary Care Team. The Care Assistant will provide high-quality care for clients to enable them to remain in their own homes and lead an independent lifestyle. This service will include personal care, household management and food preparation that is personalised for each client in the form of a Care Plan. As a Community Care Assistant, you will respect the client’s dignity, privacy and independence. Our Care Assistants also contribute in the provision of specialist palliative care for Oakhaven Hospice patients.
Qualifications
- Strong caregiving and experience, experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Relevant certifications or training in caregiving and health care is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting others
- Proficiency in manual handling practices and techniques
- You must have a full driving licence and use of a car
- Ability to drive to clients’ homes in Lymington, New Milton, Brockenhurst, and surrounding areas
- Salary contracts 16-40 hours (whole shifts paid)
