About the role

Our client, a reputable Academy-SEND educational provider, is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role.

Candidate profile

• Hold QTS or QTLS certification
• Experience delivering Physical Education across a range of abilities
• Demonstrable experience supporting learners with ASD/ASC or additional needs (desirable)
• Passionate about promoting physical activity, well‑being, and inclusion
• Strong behaviour management and engagement skills
• Excellent communication and team‑working abilities
• Commitment to high standards of care and educational development

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging PE lessons tailored to individual needs
• Adapt physical activities to ensure accessibility and participation for all pupils
• Promote teamwork, confidence, and physical well‑being
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development through structured physical activity
• Work collaboratively with staff to support pupil progress and behaviour
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
