Security Concierge

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests, creating a positive first impression
• Ensure only authorized individuals access the premises
• Maintain a secure environment
• Monitor surveillance and patrol to maintain safety
• Assist guests with questions, directions, and support
• Respond calmly to emergencies and follow procedures
• Work with Front Desk and Reception to ensure a seamless experience for guests
• Communicate effectively with other departments to address security concerns
• Handle guest issues professionally and resolve conflicts
• Stay alert and report suspicious activities
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance
• Report incidents promptly to supervisors and ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all security‑related matters
• Participate in training sessions to enhance security knowledge and customer service skills
• Stay updated with industry best practices and contribute ideas for improving security measures and guest experiences

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Door Supervision SIA license
• Valid First Aid at work certificate
• Previous experience working in a similar role, within a hotel or a similar environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business, both internal and external
• Problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations
• Discretion and sensitivity
• The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure
