Mechanical Assembler
Location and Salary
Surrey, near Woking – £27,000 to £30,000 per year.
Working Hours
AM Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday; 6:00 am – 1 pm Friday.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced fitters and assemblers who can work from engineering drawings to build a wide range of mechanical products and equipment. The role covers assembly, fitting, maintenance, service and repair of returned equipment, with opportunity for progression to team lead and field service.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products using technical drawings.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, grinders and sanders.
- Work as part of a team.
- Communicate and work professionally with customers.
- Ensure that company quality procedures are followed and reviewed with the quality representative.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical fitting / installation work.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings.
- Ability to use a range of hand tools and equipment.
- Strong focus, drive and passion for engineering.
