Lavender Lodge School is located in an 18th Century building in Mitcham. Our pupils come from many boroughs and experience a life-changing love of learning. We are proud of our pupils and our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
- Support the senior administrator and assist with day-to-day reception duties
- Maintain accurate files and assist with the production of reports
Skill set requirements
- Must have worked with pupils who are autistic with prior experience
- Ability to communicate in multiple ways; 70% of pupils are non-verbal (e.g., Makaton, picture display symbols). Experience with PECs and PODD and working with non-verbal pupils
- Experience with pupils displaying challenging behaviour and the desire to support them to manage behaviour; ability to understand the function of behaviour
- Flexible to work with pupils aged 4 to 11
- Ability to think creatively to deliver an accessible, bespoke curriculum with available tools
- Awareness of autism strategies (TEACCH, attention autism) and use of PODD in practice
