Cover Supervisor – Gateshead
We are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a Gateshead-based school for September 2026. The role focuses on providing support in a classroom setting without planning, preparing or teaching lessons.
Role Overview
You will cover lessons in the absence of a teacher, ensuring students stay on task, managing the classroom and providing assistance with their work whenever possible.
Requirements
- Experience work with children or young people within the last 2 years, with a professional reference available.
- Have a valid fully enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Passionate about education and committed to helping North East children reach their full potential.
Benefits
Pay is quoted at £100‑£120 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
