Role Overview
We are looking for a Landscape Technician to join our Estate Service team based in East London. You will be responsible for ground works across several sites in the East London area. The role involves lawn mowing, hedge/shrub pruning, and litter picking. We seek an enthusiastic, well‑organised team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Based in East London – covering sites across the area
£29,912 – £31,486 per year (rising after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:30pm
Responsibilities
- Maintain estates in accordance with grounds maintenance contract specifications, applying basic horticultural practices.
- Undertake grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, pruning, weed/moss treatment.
- Ensure all tools and equipment (hedge trimmers, strimmers, hand tools) are maintained in good, workable condition and operated safely.
- Provide accurate and timely information on task progress, completing daily work records as appropriate.
- Carry out hazardous tasks such as spraying in accordance with supplier guidelines and safety and legal requirements, maintaining relevant records.
Skills and Experiences
- Previous experience in a similar role involving gardening machinery.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Driving on company business – must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
