We have an exciting opportunity for a multi‑skilled Area Facilities Technician to join our team, supporting modern healthcare facilities across North London.

This autonomous, hands‑on role is responsible for delivering high‑quality hard FM services, ensuring safe, compliant, and well‑maintained environments while providing exceptional customer service. We’re looking for a proactive, dedicated individual who takes pride in delivering high standards and living the Bellrock Values.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver day‑to‑day operations, including repair and maintenance etc.
  • Deliver/execute the Day‑to‑Day Operations & Maintenance & Reactive Tasks.
  • Completion of all Contract Required documentation.
  • Supervise all external Subcontractors.
  • Carryout all Contracted PPM attributed to the LiftCo Team.
  • Participate in an Out of Hours Call Rota.
  • Manage assigned Tasks on Concerto, close all assigned Jobs with Correct Documentation.
  • Be Pro Active and raise Jobs if an issue is identified.
  • Support Facilities Supervisors with any reasonable tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the Healthcare sector.
  • Proficient in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable and dependable, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
  • Committed to delivering high standards of customer service and maintaining safe, compliant environments.
  • Calm and effective under pressure, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, responding positively to changing priorities and operational demands.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from Finchley Memorial Hospital, London, N12 0JE Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:00 and 12:00pm – 20:00pm).
