Senior Technician

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technician with strong experience in specialist cleaning and restoration.

You will carry out a wide range of restoration and remediation work while always following company policies, procedures, and health & safety rules.

This is a hands‑on role that also involves supporting and guiding junior team members.

You should have experience in:

• Mould remediation
• Fire and flood restoration
• Hoarding and biohazard cleaning
• Oil and chemical spill response

You will also help maintain high-quality standards across all work and support the development of less experienced technicians.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist cleaning and restoration work (mould, fire, flood, biohazard, hoarding, spills)
• Follow all company procedures and health & safety rules on site
• Deliver safe, high-quality work on every job
• Support and mentor assistant technicians
• Use power tools and carry out strip-outs and demolition-type work when needed
• Respond to emergency call‑outs and take part in on‑call rotas
• Communicate professionally with clients on site
• Work well with the team to complete jobs on time and efficiently

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience in specialist cleaning and restoration

Good knowledge of

• Mould remediation
• Fire and flood restoration
• Hoarding clearance
• Spill response
• Health & safety awareness and understanding of safe systems of work
• Confident using power tools and working on‑site
• Physically fit and able to do manual, demanding work
• Flexible and willing to travel across the UK when required
• Full UK driving licence
• BDMA or similar industry qualifications are desirable
