Social Worker – Children in Care Team
Location: Cable Plaza, Waterfront West, Brierley Hill, Dudley
Salary: £39,152 – £46,142 per annum

Hours: 37 per week
Salary Grade: Grade 9 or 10, subject to experience
Overview
We are looking for two experienced social workers to join our Children in Care Team in Dudley. You will support children with permanency plans following proceedings, including adoption, long term fostering, residential care, connected family placements, progressing SGO and reunification. You will build positive relationships and connections with children, young people and their families to help achieve amazing outcomes.
Responsibilities
As a practitioner, you will act as a corporate parent to young people in care and role‑model relational and restorative practice. You will:
- Provide social work support to children and young people in care.
- Collaborate with care experience personal advisors to secure positive and ambitious transitional plans.
- Work with children, young people and families to achieve permanency outcomes.
Qualifications
- Social worker with 1 year post‑qualification.
- Completed ASYE programme.
