Workshop Technician – Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about working with young people, adults, and employers. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise, a passion for the Engineering sector, and excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

As a Workshop Technician you will play a crucial role in supporting students and teaching staff with the delivery of the Engineering Curriculum. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include demonstrating and instructing learners involved in practical activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety standards are met and maintaining an organised and efficient workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in relevant vocational area
• GCSE A–C / 9 – 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
• Experience in relevant industry/education setting
