Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well‑established residential property team based in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. This is a full‑time, permanent residential conveyancing position with one of the region’s most reputable law firms, offering excellent training and development to become a fully fledged conveyancer.
Job Responsibilities
As an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal, you will manage your own low‑volume caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initiation through completion, including post‑completion tasks.
You will be fully supported by the wider conveyancing team and have access to experience and training.
Specific duties include:
- Managing own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including sale and purchase, leasehold and freehold, right to buy, shared ownership, remortgage and transfer of equity
- Drafting all relevant documentation and SDLT forms
- Providing clear and accurate advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Liaising with estate agents, solicitors, lenders and other third parties
Person Specification
Applicants should be experienced Conveyancing Paralegals located near Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, with a solid understanding of residential conveyancing processes and a history of managing or assisting on a varied caseload.
- 2+ years experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or a Conveyancing Legal Assistant with considerable experience looking to step up into a fee‑earning role
- Prior experience managing a varied caseload, including both leasehold and freehold files
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and current regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
