About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working with young people within a secondary or middle school setting
  • Confidence supervising whole classes and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher
  • The ability to follow lesson plans and ensure pupils remain engaged with set work
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, professional approach to classroom supervision
  • Confidence in supporting pupils of varying abilities and needs, promoting inclusion and participation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom settings
  • A commitment to supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and personal development
  • Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
  • A positive and proactive attitude, encouraging high standards of behaviour, attendance, and engagement across the school community

Contract & Recruitment Information

Elementa is the recruiting partner; therefore, applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa.
