Care Coordinator (Domiciliary Care) – Part‑time 22.5 hours per week

Shifts Available

Monday to Friday, 22.5 hours per week, with availability to be on call or work weekends where necessary

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate home care services to ensure efficient delivery and high standards of care
  • Support care management: maintain records, produce reports, investigate complaints from service users and employees
  • Produce staffing rotas: create and manage weekly scheduling to ensure adequate coverage
  • Maintain operational awareness, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, emergency procedures and company policies
  • Handle emergency duties: out‑of‑office duties, emergency hands‑on care, on‑call duties, attend social events, provide emergency telephone assistance to care staff
  • Liaise with stakeholders: communicate and coordinate with other departments, employees, commissioners, customers, and the public
  • Perform other duties as requested to support the branch’s success

What We are Looking For

  • Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Level 3 (or working towards) in Health and Social Care or related field
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the domiciliary care sector
  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead, delegate and mentor staff
  • Experience in care: Genuine passion for helping others – essential
  • Organisational skills: High level of organisation and reliability; manage rotas and multiple responsibilities
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to varying needs
  • Diligence: Manage care tasks and wellbeing checks with care and professionalism
  • Background checks: Willingness to undergo necessary background checks
  • Availability: Ability to work in the office and deliver home care when required
  • Weekend availability: Ability to work on weekends as required
  • Valid driver’s licence: Clean, valid licence and reliable vehicle
  • Work‑related car insurance: Hold or willing to obtain work‑related car insurance
