- Position 1: 27 hours 30 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year – Salary £16,319.41 to £16,578.40
- Position 2: 34 hours per week, 39 weeks per year – Salary £20,176.73 to £20,496.93
Location and School Overview
Outwood Academy Newbold is located in the village of Newbold in Chesterfield, a short drive from the Peak District and the city of Sheffield. The academy has a clear ethos that focuses on bringing out the best in each student and supporting their development of responsibility towards themselves, others, their community and the wider world.
Role Summary
We are recruiting two part‑time Teaching Assistants. Successful candidates will support students with varying needs across the curriculum and work with individuals or small groups. Candidates must work flexibly as part of the Inclusion Team and have experience working within a school environment. They should also be able to support vulnerable students.
Responsibilities
- Support students in mainstream lessons across the curriculum
- Work with individuals and small groups to enhance learning
- Collaborate with the Inclusion Team to deliver inclusive practices
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience working in a school environment
- Ability to work flexibly with a range of student needs
- Experience supporting vulnerable students
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
