Team Member Welder

Repair fuel tanks to the required standard using various types of welding.

Responsibilities

• Able to weld from scratch.
• Support the engineering department with making improvements.
• Understand and adhere to the non-conforming parts process.
• Escalate to the Team Leader all safety, quality and production concerns which affect achieving hourly targets.
• Uphold the 5S standards of your area.
• Collect data, such as location of repairs, to share with the engineering department.
• Work to and understand the standard work charts and standard operating procedures in your area/for any tasks you are carrying out.
• Strive to achieve right first time.
• Continually look for and suggest ways of improving the area / process with your Team Leader.
• Be willing to assist other areas of production when needed.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of welds meet industry standards and project requirements.
